Due to a long week of rain, US 36 Raceway officials have cancelled the ASCS Warrior Region and Sprint Series of Nebraska event for Friday, May 10. Officials worked hard to try to get the grounds ready, but it became evident there was too much water and officials made the call to cancel. After two weeks of cancellations, US 36 Raceway is ready to try this again on Friday, May 17 as the ASCS Warrior Region has rescheduled. The race is slated to be the first stand-alone event for the Warrior Region. Scheduled to be part of the event, the Sprint Series of Nebraska did not choose to reschedule. (OSBORN, Mo.) – For the first time in their inaugural season, the Iowa Sprint Car League visited the high banks of US 36 Raceway. At the end of the night, Wyatt Burks held off two different challenges from Mitchell Moore and Riley Kreisel. Burks set a blistering pace early and opened a big gap. (OSBORN, Mo.) – With $1,000 on the line, the IMCA Modifieds battled for 20 laps before the big check had a recipient. After several early cautions, Cory Wray and Chad Clancy settled into the top two spots. Wray ran the bottom of the racetrack, as did Clancy. Clancy could roll the center of the corner better than everyone on the race track, but he couldn’t get the drive off to move to the inside of Wray. The Bud Shootout is one of the staple events on the calendar at US 36 Raceway every year. In 2019 it gets even bigger. For the fourth time this season, the 360-Sprint racers of the ASCS Warrior will hit the high banks of US 36 Raceway. They will be joined by the 305 drivers of the Sprint Series of Nebraska. The IMCA Modifieds and Pure Stocks are also racing. The pits open at 5 p.m. The grandstands open at 6 p.m., with hot laps at 7:30 p.m. and racing at 8 p.m. Tickets for the event are $25 for general admission, $22 for senior and military, $8 for children 7-12 and 6 and younger are free.

Pre-entry for one of the most anticipated events of the US 36 Raceway season is now open. Drivers in the IMCA Modifieds, IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars, IMCA Stock Cars and IMCA Sport Mods will all battle to become the first winners in the inaugural Missouri IMCA Nationals.
